Audiometers measure a patients hearing at different frequencies, these measurements ultimately decide what course of treatment or hearing aid would be best suited to their particular condition. The accuracy of the measurements taken are of paramount importance, wrong information can lead to wrong diagnosis or fitting of the wrong hearing aid.
